Elouise Geene, 63, of Crane, passed away at 12:15 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2005 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born July 20, 1941 in Bloomfield, she was the daughter of Lanis and Margret (Martin) Sipes.
She was an assembly line worker for RCA and had also worked for GE. She was a member of the Linton Assembly of God.
Survivors include: her husband Charles Geene of Crane; two sons, Jesse and his wife Lisa Emmons of Elnora, and Lonnie and his wife Michelle Emmons of Lyons; a step-daughter Susan and her husband Larry DeMoss of Ellettsville; a step-son Burke and his wife Maggie Geene of Bloomington; her father Lanis Sipes of Lyons; five grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her mother, a brother Lanis Sipes, and a sister Betty June Newcom.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Harvest Community Church, U.S. 231, south to 400 East, turn left, one mile on the right. Rev. Jeff Williams and Rev. Mark Dunlap will be officiating. Burial will be in Scotland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Thursday at the Church.
