Anna Elizabeth Miller, 91, of Bloomfield, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, April 17, 2005, at Glenburn Home.
Born December 17, 1913 in Sturgeon, Ill., she was the daughter of Frank A. and Waneta (Gollogher) Hoese. She had been married for 68 years to Donald Marshall (Monk) Miller. He passed away January 11, 2002.
She was a homemaker and a member of Worthington Methodist Church, a lifetime member of American Legion Auxiliary 196, and a charter member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority in Bloomfield.
Survivors include: a son Donald F. and his wife Agnes Miller of Linton; three daughters, Nancy and her husband Bob Kirk of Bloomfield, Sally and her husband Harry McCormick of Indianapolis, and Lori and her husband Gary Wise of Cookeville, Tenn.; one brother Max Hoese; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald Marshall (Monk) Miller, four sisters, and a brother.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home, Bloomfield with Rev. Peggy Casteel officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.
