Annetta Pruett, 60, of Lake Wales, Fla., and formerly of Coal City, passed away at 9 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.
She was born April 13, 1945 in Linton.
She was a homemaker. She and her husband formerly owned the Marathon Family Restaurant in Worthington for seven years. She was a member of Faithway Bible Church in Worthington and a former member of Buttons & Bows Homemakers Club and Coal City Fire Department.
Survivors include: her husband Kenneth Pruett of Lakes Wales, Fla.; a son Eddie and his wife Krisanna Pruett of Washington; a granddaughter Hannah Pruett of Washington; a sister Phyllis and her husband Ona Bough of Lake Wales Fla.; a sister-in-law Resa and her husband Frank Hamilton of Coal City; two brothers-in-law, Gerald and his wife Debbie Pruett of Worthington, and James "Rick" and his wife Cathy Pruett of Bloomfield.
She was preceded in death by her mother Louise (Shields) Driscol, her grandparents who raised her, Henry and Agnes Shields, two brothers Richard Southard and Kenny Dean Jones.
Funeral services will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Bro. Terry Dowell officiating. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
