Hazel Helen Bonham Land, 75, of Dugger, passed away at 11:25 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2005 at her residence.
Born Jan. 9, 1930 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Charles and Lillie (Hines) Bonham. She had been married to James (Jake) Land, who passed away in 2003.
She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Dugger.
Survivors include: six daughters, Carol Land, Shelia Alumbaugh, Bonnie Helms, Wendy Chesterfield, Regenia Robertson, all of Dugger, and Lena Beard of Linton; three sons, Jim Land and Lonnie Land, both of Linton, and Billy Land of Dugger; three brothers, Lewis Bonham and Robert Bonham, both of Dugger, and Mike Bonham of Sullivan; two sisters, Phyllis Villain and Sandra Vaughn, both of Linton; 24 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James (Jake) Land, a daughter Tina McKenzie, two sons, David Land and Mark Land, three sisters, Mary Hawkins, Dorothy Wright, and June Froeschke, one brother Charles Bonham, and one grandson Dane Tuttle Land.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Bible Baptist Church in Dugger with Pastor Steve Talpas officiating. Burial will be in the Dugger Cemetery.
Visitation was at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger on Monday, and from 9 a.m. until noon today.
