Jack Pearce Osborn, 79, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2005 in San Antonio.
Born Jan. 13, 1926 in Linton, he was the son of Shirley Earl and Ethel Pearce Osborn.
He worked at the V.A. Administration in Indianapolis and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He graduated from Linton High School in 1944. He was a member of the Bethany Methodist Church in San Antonio, Texas and the Masonic Blue Lodge in Indianapolis.
Survivors include a brother Shirley Osborn of Montville, Conn., a sister Norma (Osborn) Colley of Nacogdoches, Texas, a niece, several nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside service will be at Fairview Cemetery 2 p.m. on Thursday with the Rev. John Monroe officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by Frank Courtney American Legion Post 22. Burial will follow at the cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, the American Heart Association and the Alzheimer's Association.
