Cory Douglas Stevenson, 31, of Bloomington, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2005, at his residence.
Born Aug. 16, 1973 in Bedford, he was the son of Doug and Jennifer L. (Crane) Stevenson.
He was a 1991 graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School where he was the catcher for the baseball team. He enjoyed softball and umpiring Little League baseball games in Bedford. He was a painter for Pep Painting Inc., and also enjoyed fishing, camping and motorcycling. He attend the House of Prayer Church in Bloomington.
Survivors include: his wife Missy A. (Hall) Stevenson of Bloomington; his mother and step-father Jennifer L. and Jerry Rahn of Bloomington; his father and step-mother Doug and Kreta Stevenson of Fowler; his paternal grandmother Donna Stevenson Butts and her husband Melvin of Sebring, Fla.; three sisters, Nancye Rahn of Hayword, Calif., Katie Rahn of Greenwood, and Lindsay Staley of Lafayette; three brothers, Chris Rahn of Stephensville, Texas, Matthew Mesaeh of Terre Haute, and Jeremy Staley of Lafayette; two nephews, Shaden Staley of Lafayette and Taylor Hall of Bloomington; one niece Mya Hall of Bloomington; a brother- and sister-in-law J.D. and Maggy Hall of Bloomington; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Fred and Virginia Crane, his paternal grandfather Robert Stevenson, and two uncles, Timothy and David Crane.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Allen Funeral Home, 3000 East Third Street, Bloomington. Burial will be in the Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
