Patricia M. "Pat" (Poland) Hadley, 76, of Jasonville, passed away at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.
Born April 11, 1928 in Chicago, Ill, she was the daughter of Jim and Margarite Poland. On Sept. 27, 1946, she married James L. "Jim" Hadley, who passed away Oct. 7, 2001.
She retired after 23 years of service as a school bus driver for the Metropolitan School District of Shakamak. She was a member of Jasonville United Methodist Church and Delta Theta Tau Sorority Jasonville Chapter.
Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law Lu Ann and Dale McDonald of Coalmont; a son and daughter-in-law Christopher and Kathy Hadley of Kankakee, Ill.; a son and special friend Mark Hadley and Trudi Burley of Lady Lake, Fla.; a son Jeff Hadley of Jasonville; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a cousin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Hadley, two infant daughters, and one brother.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. on Saturday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home, Jasonville, with Pastor Chris McKinney officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery at Midland. Delta Theta Tau will conduct a graveside memorial service.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
