Virginia L. Hash, 85, of Indianapolis and formerly of Bloomfield, passed away at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday on March 29, 2005 at Rosewalk Village Nursing Home in Indianapolis.
Born Sept. 28, 1919 in Bloomfield, she was the daughter of Maurice and Golda (Heaton) Ritter. She had been married to Dallas G. Hash, who passed away in 1967.
She was a secretary for the Kroger Corporation in Indianapolis and a member of Bloomfield First Christian Church.
Survivors include: two sons, David A. Hash of Indianapolis and John C. Hash of Fountaintown; one sister Olive Wade of Bloomfield; one brother Bob Ritter of Indianapolis; four grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dallas G. Hash, two brothers, Bill and Maurice Ritter, and two sisters, Ona Haywood and Lucille Landers.
Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. on Thursday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home, Bloomfield, with the Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
