ELLETTSVILLE ---- Mary G. Terhune Richardson, 86, of Ellettsville and formerly of Switz City, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005 at Richland Bean Blossom Health Care Center.
Born Nov. 11, 1918 in Switz City, she was the daughter of John and Nora (Johnson) Gastineau.
She worked at Indiana Bell Telephone Company for 34 years, retiring in 1981. She was active in the Telephone Pioneers of America and served as the Council President. She stayed busy with fundraising events and the Residents Council at Richland Bean Blossom Healthcare Center. She was a graduate of Switz City High School in 1936.
Survivors include: a son Larry Terhune and his wife AnnaBelle of Bloomington; four grandchildren, Janelle EuDaly and her husband Gary of Bloomington, Jill and Matt Andrews of Bloomington, Joanna and Chuck Sliger of Wentzville, Mo., and John and Karen Stevens of Franklin, Ohio; and eight great-grandchildren, Ben and Morgan EuDaly, Frank Smith, Corben Andrews, Charlie Sliger, and Shelby, Jaqueline and Corey Stevens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Adam Gastineau, a sister Ruth (Gastineau) Allen, her first husband Lloyd Terhune, an infant son Jimmie Terhune, a daughter Jeanette (Terhune) Stevens, a grandson Michael Stevens, and her second husband Joe Richardson.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 Gourley Pike, Bloomington, with David EuDaly officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
