Robert Charles Sullivan, 79, of Elnora, passed away at 5:13 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005 at Ketchum Memorial in Odon.
Born Sept. 6, 1925 in Greene County, he was the son of Charles Edward and Ruby (Minks) Sullivan. On July 27, 1948, he married Delores (Watkins) Sullivan.
He was a retired farmer and school bus driver for North Daviess Schools, where he worked for 45 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He attended Greene County schools and was a member of Daviess County Antique Association.
Survivors include: his wife Delores Sullivan of Elnora; two daughters, Phyllis and her husband Jim Kane of Washington, and Sondra and her husband Tony Hellums of Elnora; a son Roger and his wife Donna Sullivan of Bloomfield; five grandchildren, Nathan Kane, Galen Kane, Eric Rose, Renae Sullivan, and Jessica Hellums; five great-grandchildren; a sister Lucille Carvin of Odon; and two brothers, Russell Sullivan and Donald Sullivan, both of Bloomfield.
He was preceded in death by a brother Raymond Sullivan.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Gill Chapel, Washington, with the Bro. Richard Smith, Galen Kane, and Eric Rose officiating. Burial will be in Sugarland Memory Gardens. The American Legion and VFW will accord full military honors.
Visitation was Sunday and after 10:30 a.m. today.
