Paul A. Campbell, 85, of Kansas City, Mo., and formerly of Jasonville, passed away at 12:34 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
Born Aug. 18, 1919 in Jasonville, he was the son of Charles and Marie (Bare) Campbell. On June 28, 1949, he married Anna (Russell) Campbell.
He retired from Pfizer after 35 years, after moving with a new plant to Lee Summit, Mo., as a safety and environmental manager. He was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church and a 50-year member of Jasonville Masonic Lodge 530 F&AM. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include: his wife Anna (Russell) Campbell of Kansas City, Mo.; two daughters, Candice Copp of Council Bluff, Iowa and Regina Campbell of Newport Beach, Calif.; one son Paul C. Campbell of Lampasas, Texas; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a cousin Margel Zunkuft of Sun City, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister June Riggs.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with Pastor David Hoskins officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
