Floyd "Beani" A. Michael, 78, of Solsberry, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005, at Bloomington Hospital.
Born Feb. 21, 1926 in Greene County, he was the son of Francis Michael and Elizabeth (Smith) Michael Stanford.
He retired from Bloomington RCA in 1986.
Survivors include: his wife of 41 years Ruby (Terrell) Michael of Solsberry; five daughters, Sheryll and her husband Danny Drew of Bakersville, Vonda and her husband Ronnie May of Bloomfield, Paulette and her husband Charles Kirkley of Bloomfield, Paula and her husband Kenneth Goetz of Lewis, and Alice and her husband William Maesch of Newark; two sons, Gordon "Butch" Michael of Shelbyville and Larry Michael of Solsberry; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, William Arthur, Joseph "Jim Ben", and John Michael; two sisters, Mary Wells and Rosetta Nicholson; a son Marvin Michael; and a daughter Donna Sue Michael.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, 105 N. Montgomery St., Spencer, with Pastor Lundy Halcomb officiating. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery, Greene County.
Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, and Monday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
