BLOOMINGTON ---- Rebeca Ann Shields Eads, 30, of Coal City, passed away Friday, Dec. 3, 2004 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born May 12, 1974 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Tommy and LuAnn (Tate) Shields. She was married to Eddy Eads.
A 1992 graduate of White River Valley High School, she attended Ivy Tech State College in Terre Haute and was music minister with the First Apostolic Church of Worthington. Working with her father, the Rev. Tommy Shields, she participated in numerous weddings, revivals and funerals over the past several years. She was also a homemaker.
Survivors include: her husband Eddy Eads of Coal City; her parents Rev. Tommy and LuAnn Shields of Worthington; one sister and brother-in-law Julie and Darrin May of Bloomington; one brother Tyler Shields and fianc/ Shaunda Grounds of Linton; her mother-in-law and father-in-law Albert and Cindy Eads of DeFuniak Springs, Fla.; and sister-in-law Christian Kreischer of Spencer.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wendell and Peggy Tate and Thomas and Helen Shields.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Allen Funeral Home, 3000 E Third St., Bloomington, with the Rev. Jud Sears officiating. Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 3-8 p.m.
