BLOOMINGTON ---- Myrtle Taylor, 87, of Bloomington, passed away Monday, Dec. 13, 2004 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born Aug. 15, 1917 in Brown County, she was the daughter of Oscar and Vina Cordelia (Elkins) Hillenburg.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law Betty and Jim Breeden of Bloomfield; two sons and daughters-in-law, Everett Eugene and Louise Taylor of Bloomington, and Robert and Shirley Taylor of Bloomfield; and one son-in-law Pete Taylor of Bloomington. She is further survived by her grandchildren; Janie and Jeff Emery and their daughter Juli, Judy and Jeff Helms and their children Jared and Janessa, Joyce and Troy Carmichael and their children Cade and Jacob, Bill and Debbie Babcock and their children Chris, Justin, Heather, John and Thekla Babcock of Germany and their children Louis and Ryan, Kathy Hughes and Gary Duncan and son David and Carrie Hughes and their children Austin and Justin, Mary Beth Patton and her children Patrick Cochran and Tiffany Patton and Annette Palmer and Bryan Hardesty and children Brandon and J.D. Palmer, and grandson Tony Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Taylor, who passed away in 1976; a daughter Lois Taylor in 2002; a granddaughter Debbie Taylor in 2001; six brothers; and five sisters.
Funeral service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Allen Funeral Home, 3000 East Third St., Bloomington, with Pastor L. D. Axsom officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today and one hour before the service Thursday.
