Carleton (Pat) Overman, of Bloomfield, passed away at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004 at his residence.
Born Feb. 3, 1931 in Junction City, Kan., he was the son of Patrick Henry and Myrtle E. (Meyers) Overman. He was married to Edna Marie (Reynolds) Overman.
He was retired from Otis Elevator in Bloomington and he had also worked at the Bloomfield Woolen Mill. He was a member of the Walnut Grove Church of God.
Survivors include: his wife Edna Marie Overman of Bloomfield; one son Keith Wayne Overman and his wife Janet of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two grandsons, Brent Wayne Overman of Bloomfield and Craig Patrick Overman of Bloomington; two sisters, Louise Mount and her husband David of Hanover, and Orlena Chambers and her husband Ronald of Bloomfield; one brother William Estel Overman and his wife Patty of Bloomington; a former daughter-in-law Karen Overman of Bloomfield; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home, Bloomfield, with the Rev. Wes Cornwell and the Rev. Erin Raper officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, and one hour prior to service Saturday at the funeral home.
