Everett Leroy Mitchell, 73, of Indianapolis and formerly of Pleasantville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004 at his residence in Cloverdale.
Born Feb. 21, 1931 in Pleasantville, he was the son of Roy and Chloe (Rooksberry) Mitchell. He had been married to Lola Francis (Smith) Mitchell, who passed away in 2003.
He worked in the tool and die department at Hurco Manufacturing for 25 years. He was a member of the El Bethel Baptist Church in Avon.
Survivors include: a daughter Marquita Snyder of Indianapolis; three brothers, Larry Mitchell of Greencastle, John Mitchell of Danville, and Roy Mitchell Jr. of Linton; five sisters, Anna Marie Earl, Doris Suttles, and Carol Butler, all of Linton, Dorothy Bruce of Seelyville, and Judy Mitchell of Sullivan; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lola Francis Mitchell, and a son Ronnie Mitchell.
Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Conkle Funeral Home, Hendricks County Chapel, Avon. Entombment will be in the West Ridge Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Friends may call from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
