William "Bump-Billy Paul" Bilyeu, 61, of Linton, passed away at 8:16 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born Aug. 6, 1943 in Brownsville, Texas, he was the son of Paul E. and Lois Waneta (Thomas) Bilyeu.
He retired from Crane NWSC as a transportation driver. He was an U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and a member of Linton Moose Lodge 1434, Moose Legion Wabash 90, Jasonville American Legion Post 172, and the Worthington VFW Post.
Survivors include: his wife Doris "Dody" (VanHorn) Bilyeu of Linton, whom he married March 11, 2000; two daughters, Pamela "Jody" LeDune-Wright and her husband Jimmy of Shelburn, and Paula J. Hill and her husband Rick of Coalmont; two step-daughters, Tammy Stahl of Worthington and Nikki May and her husband Kent of Jasonville; one step-son Michael Edwards and his wife Dana of Kokomo; four brothers, Phillip R. Bilyeu of Avon, Aaron K. Bilyeu of Shelbyville, Tom D. Bilyeu of Ramsey, and Bob E. Bilyeu of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Erik LeDune of Terre Haute, Dani LeDune of Indianapolis, and C.J., Jade and Payton Hill of Coalmont; and step-grandchildren, Justin and Andrew Hart of Worthington, Montana Edwards of Kokomo, Clayton and Preston May of Jasonville, and Faith and Dalton Wright of Dugger.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Raymond H. Bilyeu.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home of Jasonville with Pastor Sam Bush and Pastor Phillip Bilyeu officiating. Burial will be in Peavey Cemetery. There will be graveside military rites.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. on Saturday with a Moose Lodge memorial service at 7 p.m. and from noon until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
