Dorothy R. Watson, 90, of Linton, passed away at 10:50 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004 at Glenburn Home.
Born Jan. 19, 1914 in Linton, she was the daughter of Marvin and Maggie (Swango) Johnson. She married Walter N. "Buck" Watson on Nov. 10, 1927. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2002.
She was a homemaker, and a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: four grandchildren, Michelle Poynter and her husband Tim of Linton, Chris and his wife Amy Watson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Drew and his wife Maria Watson of Valparasio, and Samual Watson of Indianapolis; a daughter-in-law Miriam Watson of Linton; one great-grandson Levi Watson; two sisters, Vena Talbott of Linton and Ruby Brothers of Westland, Mich.; and one sister-in-law Hyla Johnson of Linton.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband Walter N. "Buck" Watson; three sons, Richard, Chester and Walter Watson; two brothers, Chester and Hubert Johnson; and one sister Ruth Wells.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel, Linton with the Rev. Doug Witt officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
