Wanda M. Burris, 74, of Hymera, passed away at 4:09 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.
Born March 9, 1930 in Jasonville, she was the daughter of Floyd and Nellie (Hoopengarner) Raley. She was married to James H. Burris who passed away Aug. 8, 1997.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: one daughter Laura Smith of Oakland, Ill.; three sons, Jim Burris of Linton, Dan Burris of Jasonville, and John Burris of Shelburn; one sister Ruth Barton of Jasonville; one brother Dean Raley of Mishawaka; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Nellie Raley; her husband James H. Burris; and one brother Robert Raley.
Funeral service is at 1 p.m. on Monday at Souls Harbor Church in Shelburn with the Rev. Bruce Campbell officiating. Burial will be in K of P Cemetery at Hymera.
Friends may call from noon until the time of service Monday at the church.
