Lloyd D. Goad, 69, of Lyons, passed away at 2 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004 at his residence.
Born March 31, 1935 in Bloomfield, he was the son of Bertrand and Annabell (Pilk) Goad. His was married to Patty Lou (Axe) Goad.
He was a self-employed contractor and a member of Full Gospel Church in Switz City.
Survivors include: his wife Patty Lou (Axe) Goad of Lyons; two daughters, Dixie and her husband Tim Sauders of Lyons and Terri and her husband Jim Stader of Bloomfield; two granddaughters, Shannon Strauser of Lyons and Courtney Shonk of Switz City; one grandson Jacob Lundy of Linton; one step-granddaughter Marianne Stader of Tampa, Fla.; five great-grandchildren; one brother Larry Goad of Linton; and four sisters, Carolyn Thompson of Switz City, Phyllis Padgett of Lyons, Peggy Thompson of Springville, and Sheryl Michaels of Linton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Bertrand (Butch) Goad.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Full Gospel Church in Switz City with the Rev. Samuel Hill officiating. Burial will be in Switz City Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Jenkins Funeral Home, Bloomfield, and Tuesday at the church from noon until the hour of service.
