CLOVERDALE ---- Wilma Guy, 76, of Cloverdale, passed away Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004 at Cloverdale Convalescent & Rehab Center.
Born Feb. 9, 1928 in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Charles Lewis and Dovie Mable (Bales) O'Conner. She married Buryl Guy on July 27, 1949. He preceded her in death on July 4, 2000.
She was a homemaker and a member of Cloverdale Church of Christ.
Survivors include: five daughters, Myrna L. and her husband James Grayson of Mooresville, Norma Savoldi of Greencastle, Sharon and her husband Allen Caney of Cloverdale, Marsha Lynn Guy of Bicknell, and Pam and her husband Tommy Brown of Greencastle; a son Myron and his wife Joanne Guy of Lyons; several grandchildren and step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1968; her mother in 1980; her husband in 2000; a daughter Lenna Carol Guy in 1958; and a sister Thelma Pearl Jones.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale with Bro. Fred Davis officiating. Burial will be at Olive Cemetery, Paragon.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
