Islet Ann Ausman, 64, of Linton, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born April 10, 1940 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Glen L. and Evelyn (McDonald) Greenwell.
She was a homemaker, and a 1958 graduate of Switz City Central High School. She attended the Nine Mile Methodist Church, where she was a missionary member of the church by taking care of the birthday gifts at Head Start. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Linton.
Survivors include: her husband Perry L. Ausman of Linton; three daughters, Sherry Ervin of Linton, Glenda Kay Gallagher of Linton, and Belinda Fay Rehmel of Linton; one son Perry L. Ausman, Jr. of Linton; two brothers, Everett Reed of Linton and Jim Greenwell of Scottsboro, Ala.; two sisters, Olay Faulk of Worthington, and Alberta Allen of Bloomington; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Dennis J. Ausman, and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Linton Chapel with the Rev. John Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery north of Newberry.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, and after 9 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
