Donald E. Bough, 77, of Springville, passed away at 7:02 p.m. Friday Sept. 17, 2004 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born Jan. 30, 1927 in Owensburg, he was the son of Jonah and Rachel (Ashcraft) Bough. He married Wanetta I. (Holmes) Bough on Feb. 2, 1945. They had been married for 59 1/2 years.
He worked in the maintenance department for Otis Elevator in Bloomington. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He belonged to the Cincinnati Christian Church, Solsberry American Legion, Solsberry Order of Eastern Star, was a Past Master of Solsberry Masonic Lodge 411 F&AM, and belonged to the Scottish Rite in Indianapolis.
Survivors include: his wife Wanetta I. (Holmes) Bough of Springville; two sons, Larry Don and his wife Linda Bough and Steven Joe and his wife Debbie Bough, all of Springville; a daughter Nancy and her husband Mark Clensy of Springville; one brother William Bough of Kokomo; one sister Lillian Rush of Springville; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Luther Dale Bough and a great-granddaughter Morgan Clensy.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home Bloomfield with the Rev. Henry Mann Jr. and the Rev. William Prosise officiating. Burial will be at Dishman Cemetery Springville.
Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Solsberry Masonic Lodge 411 held services at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
