Juanita T. LeCocq, 84, of Linton, passed away at 10:50 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004 at Linton Nursing & Rehab.
Born April 11, 1920 in Palestine, Ill., she was the daughter of Henry C. and Elsie (Wright) Hill. She was raised by Forest Hunter.
She worked at Wal-Mart and was a bookkeeper at Johnson Creamery, City of Linton. She also worked at Kramer Oldsmobile and the Greene County Recorder's Office. She belonged to Fellowship Baptist Church and was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star Columbian Chapter.
Survivors include: three grandchildren, Robin Spinks of Haubstadt, Austin Moore of Evansville, and Landon Moore of Chicago, Ill.; one great-grandchild Brendon Moore; and a special friend and caregiver Linda Taylor of Linton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Vernon "Duffy" Moore in 1961; her second husband Estel Campbell in 1986; her third husband Paris LeCocq in 1993; one son Jeff Moore; one daughter Barbara Warnick; one sister Bernadene Scholl; and one brother Vernon Hill.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Dean Hartman and the Rev. Warren Allen officiating. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton.
