Margaret L. Arnold, 79, of Indianapolis and formerly of Jasonville, passed away at 12:19 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2004 at Community Hospital South Indianapolis.
Born May 26, 1925 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Quince and Elizabeth (Zuder) Thomas. She had been married to Estel "Junior" Arnold Jr., who preceded her in death Sept. 10, 1994.
She was a homemaker and a member of Southport Baptist Church of Indianapolis.
Survivors include: two daughters, Peggy and her husband John Mondary of Indianapolis and Lisa Arnold and friend Steve Salvati of East Haven, Conn.; one son Larry and his wife Linda Arnold of Terre Haute; 10 grandchildren, Leigh and Scott Gilmore, Todd and Leslie Arnold, Matt and Karen Mondary, Megan and Nate Wallen, Andy Strahla and Sharon Drew; four great-grandchildren, Amber Gilmore, Kylie and Emma Arnold, Bethany Salvati; and one sister Marjorie and her husband John Knox of Jasonville.
She was preceded in death by her parents (Quince and Elizabeth Thomas) and her husband Estel "Junior" Arnold Jr.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home Jasonville with Pastor Harold Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery Dugger.
Visitation was Sunday, and 9 a.m. until the time of service today at the funeral home.
