Helen Fields Walters, 89, of rural Dugger, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004 at her residence.
Born May 4, 1915 in Carlisle, she was the daughter of Logan and Anna (Nale) Fields. She had been married to George E. Walters, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son George A. Walters of rural Dugger; one daughter Sandra K. Young of Santa Claus; six grandchildren, Debbie Shoemaker Kremer, Kathy Shoemaker Marsh, Nancy Shoemaker Klemme, Mike Faidherbe, Angie Faidherbe Stanton, and Theresa Faidherbe Lakomek; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband George E. Walters; one daughter Barbara Ann Shoemaker; two brothers, Paul Fields and Lawrence Fields; three sisters, Ruby Quist, Beulah Yaw and Camilla Workman.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Newkirk Funeral Home Dugger with the Rev. John Booker officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
