LIVINGSTON, TENN. - Ruth Marie Heidenreich Shake, 82, of Poplar Springs Community, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2004 at her residence.
Born September 4, 1921 in Westphalia, she was the daughter of Carl and Irene (Stolting) Heidenreich.
Ruth was a homemaker and a member of Sandborn United Methodist Church in Sandborn and affiliated with Poplar Springs Baptist Church. She was also a member of Mother's Evening Homemakers Club in Indiana.
Survivors include: her husband Doyle Shake of Poplar Springs Community, Tenn.; two sons, Brent Shake of Poplar Springs Community, Tenn., and Brad Shake and his wife Robin of Naples, Ind.; three daughters, Beth and her husband Fred Phillips of Poplar Springs Community, Tenn., Kay and her husband T.J. Ball of Linton, and Belinda and her husband John Atlogic of Oquawka, Ill.; nine grandchildren, Lisa Howard, Felicia Phillips, Lee Phillips, Adina Smock, Kimberly Nickless, Matthew Hollingsworth, Jim Shake, Justin Phillips, and Justin Ball; 12 great-grandchildren, Britney, Johnny, Paige, Ethan, Bethany, Kayla, Aspen, Taylor, Brady, Baily, Bonnie, and Cameron; and one sister Shirley Miller of Edwardsport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter Karen Shake; and two brothers, Elmer "Bud" Heidenreich and Ralph Heidenreich.
Memorial services will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Sandborn United Methodist Church with Rev. Dewey Glenn Masters officiating.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. until the time of service on Friday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Poplar Springs Baptist Church or Lazarus House Hospice.
