Hilda Marie Linneweber, 92, of Vincennes, passed away at 2:25 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes.
Born Feb. 10, 1912 in Freelandville, she was the daughter of Henry and Mary (Lichte) Sager. On Jan. 5, 1933 she married William F. Linneweber, who passed away Nov. 5, 2001.
She owned and operated the Linneweber IGA Grocery in Westphalia until retirement in 1972. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, and a former Pink Lady at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Survivors include two nieces, Mary Alice Lawrence of Vincennes and Marcia Staser of Evansville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and three brothers.
Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Anderson-Poindexter Sandborn Chapel with the Rev. Peter Haskins officiating. Burial will be at Salem United Church of Christ Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
