SULLIVAN ---- Ralph H. Bohmeier, 89, of Sullivan, passed away at 10:50 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 13, 2004 in Sullivan County Community Hospital.
Born Aug. 11, 1915 in Bicknell, he was the son of William Bohmeier and Lula Nieoringhaus Bohmeier.
He had worked on a dairy farm and served as custodian at Sullivan Schools and Sullivan County courthouse. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Sullivan.
Survivors include: his wife Mabel Hudleson Bohmeier of Sullivan; one daughter Sally Bohmeier of Sullivan; one step son LaWayne Wyatt of Riverview, Fla.; two step daughters, Gloria Rippy of Indianapolis and Juanita Watkins of Tucson, Ariz.; one sister Mildred Huffer Buescher of Vincennes; one brother-in-law John Siner of Evansville; one sister-in-law Jeanette Bohmeier of Vincennes; and several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Cozzette Siner Bohmeier, who passed away in 1973, his parents, and one brother Richard Bohmeier.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Banks & Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan with the Rev. David Cox and the Rev. Warren Shake officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. on Monday.
