CRANE ---- Malcolm A. Burch, 74, of Crane, passed away at 8 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 16, 2004 at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.

Born Jan. 18, 1930 in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of John and Velma (Corlett) Burch. He married Judith (White) Burch on May 25, 1974.

He was retired from NSWC Crane in the Electronics Department. He also owned and operated Crane Satellite Sales.

Survivors include: his wife Judith Burch of Crane; two sons, Michael Burch of Vincennes and John White of Noble, Ill.; and two daughters, Teresa Rupert of Jasonville and Terri Frederick of Vincennes; one brother Rex Burch of Plainfield; four sisters, Polly Hayes of Ellettsville, Barbara Gainey of Linton, Carol Ridinger of Jasonville, and Bonnie Bland of Plainfield; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother Max Burch and a sister Paula Whitcomb.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Brocksmith Funeral Home, 300 Church St., Loogootee. Burial will be at Raglesville Cemetery in Raglesville.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
