Duane F. Constable, 65, of Bloomfield, passed away at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 20, 2004 at his residence.
Born March 18, 1939 in Treadwell, N.Y., he was the son of Fredrick and Florence (Pinney) Constable. He was married to Patricia (Stratton) Constable.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a truck driver for Hoosier Air and a member of the Teamsters Union.
Survivors include: His wife Patricia Constable of Bloomfield; three sons, Michael Constable of Ohio, Jack D. Constable of Newberry, and Fredrick A. Constable of Jacksonville, N.C.; one daughter Shannon Redding of Bloomington; three sisters, Barbara Clapper of Nevada, Lois Rausch of New York, and Lori Brady of Connecticut; one brother Jim Constable of Connecticut; his mother Florence Constable of Sidney Center, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will be at Goodwin Cemetery, Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
