Wilma E. "Dottie" Malone, 82, of Newberry, passed away at 8:15 a.m. on July 9, 2004 at Lyons Health and Living Center.
Born Sept. 3 ,1921 in Petroleum, W.Va., she was the daughter of Erman and Susie (Arman) Dotson.
She was a retired registered nurse at Daviess County Hospital in Washington. She was a member of the Salvation Army and Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: one daughter Patricia and her husband David Kilgore of York Springs, Pa.; one son Ronald and his wife Helen Bowersock of Kendallville; one step-daughter Rose and her husband Max Floyd of Bloomfield; one step-son Ned and his wife Miriam Malone of Stanford; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Kilgore and Mary Kilgore of York Springs, Pa., and Andrew Bowersock, Timothy Bowersock and Stephen Bowersock, all of Kendallville; two brothers, James and his wife Irma Dotson of Danville, Calif., and Ray and his wife Gloria Dotson of Sandersville, Ga.; and one sister Mildred and her husband Jack Bransford of Novato, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Herbert Bowersock; who passed away in 1983; her second husband Dallas Malone, who passed away in 2001; and one brother Harold Dotson.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home, Bloomfield with the Rev. Jim Roach officiating. Burial will be at Mount Nebo Cemetery, Newberry.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
