Willard J. Hamilton, 80, of Linton passed away at 4:05 p.m. July 14, 2004 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute.
Born Dec. 21, 1923 in Sullivan County, he was the son of Arthur and Maymie (McKinley) Hamilton. He married Geneva M. (Jean) (Hall) Hamilton on Dec. 21, 1943.
Willard was the owner/operator of Hamilton Equipment and Hamilton Logging. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Linton Masonic Lodge 560 F&AM and the Scottish Rite of Indianapolis.
Survivors include: his wife Geneva M. Hamilton of Linton; one son Bill D. Hamilton and his wife Sheri; two sisters, Irene Cullison Wade of Fort Myers, Fla., and Margaret Goodman of Lakeland, Fla.; and one brother Jimmy J. Hamilton of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel Linton with the Rev. Doug Witt officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery on Linton.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, and 9 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home. There will be a Masonic Lodge Memorial Service today at 7 p.m.
