Marvin B. Neill, 82, of Bloomington, passed away at 1:34 p.m. on July 16, 2004 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born Dec. 26, 1921 in Greene County, he was the son of Thomas and Ella (McDaniel) Neill. He was married to Jacqueline P. (McIntosh) Neill, who preceded him in death May 2, 1998.
Marvin farmed in the Newark area for several years and he was also a retired dredge boat operator for American Aggregates in Indianapolis.
Survivors include: one daughter Edna R. Wildman of Indianapolis; four sons, James M. Neill of Bloomington, Thomas P. Neill of Bedford, Joseph E. Neill of Bloomington, and Kenneth S. Neill of Bloomington; two sisters, Doris Malicoat and Mavis Cooper, both of Spencer; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline P. (McIntosh) Neill; one daughter Mary Lou (Neill) Brewer; one grandson Allen Neill; two brothers, Melvin and William Neill; and two sisters, Mary Deems and Maude Stahl.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home, Bloomfield with Rev. Wayne Michael officiating . Burial will be at Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Lyons.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday and from noon until hour of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
