Adam Dean Hasler, 19, of Lolo, Mont., passed away July 26, 2004 in Montana.

Born June 24, 1985 in Linton, he was the son of Kerry Hasler and Jackie Vehslage.

Hasler was a licensed Montana guide for the Hole in the Wall Ranch. He attended school at White River Valley until he moved to Montana in 2001 graduating from Big Sky High School in 2004. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid outdoorsman.

Survivors include: his parents, Jackie and Jon "Sam" Vehslage of Lolo, Mont., and Kerry Hasler of Newberry; three brothers, Joshua and Jacob Hasler of Newberry, and Dakota Hasler of Worthington; step-brother Jeremy Vehslage of Franklin; step-sister Jennifer Brett of Franklin; grandparents, Janice and Ken Gelhaus of Mableton, Ga., and Niland Raper of Lyons; step-grandmother Betty Vehslage of Worthington; great-grandmother Geneva Christy of Lyons; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 5 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the charity of the donor's choice in Adam's name.
