James Walker Cliff, Sr., 65, of Bloomfield, passed away at 10 a.m. July 26, 2004 at his residence
Born Dec. 23, 1938 in Indianapolis, he was the son of George Edward and Gladys (Walker) Cliff. He was married to Cleopheus (Lucas) Cliff.
He was retired from the construction trade and a member of the Clay City Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife Cleopheus (Lucas) Cliff of Bloomfield; two daughters, Patti Irene Moore of Bloomington, and Amanda Sue Hollingsworth of Linton; five sons, Joseph James Rheubottom of Terre Haute, James Walker Cliff, Jr. of Albany, Ky., and Kevin Edward Cliff, Arthur Glenn Cliff, and Kenny Ray Cliff, all of Bloomington; one sister Jackie McQueary of Ypsilanti, Mich,; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Bernard Cliff; one sister Jeanette Byrnes; and one daughter June Kay Cliff.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday at Flynn Cemetery with the Rev. Joseph Lucas officiating. Burial will be in Flynn Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
