Donald E. Marshall, 85, of Shelburn, passed away at 12:20 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
Born Feb. 24, 1939 in Greene County, he was the son of Eugene and Mary Wilma (Kondas) Marshall.
He retired from Cinergy on Jan. 1, 1997. He was in the Army Reserves and a member of the First Baptist Church of Hymera.
Survivors include: his mother Mary Wilma Marshall of Hymera; two daughters, Polly Ann Smith of Shelburn and Donna Lynn Kimmell of Avon; one son Andrew S.W. Marshall of Waverly; five grandchildren, Jessica (Smith) Pearison, Nicholas Smith, Ashlee Kimmell, Brandon Kimmell and Ainsley Marshall; a soon-to-be great grandson; the mother of his children Adlynn Marshall of Shelburn; one sister Marianna Schlacher of Lake Forest, Ill.; one brother John Marshall of Englewood Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Douglas Marshall and Thomas Marshall
Funeral service is at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Hymera First Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Bush officiating. Burial will be at K of P Cemetery at Hymera.
Friends may call at the church 5-9 p.m. today, and 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday. McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home of Jasonville assisted with arrangements.
