Pauline Thomas Hodges, 71, passed away at 4:55 p.m., April 30, 2004, at her residence.
Born April 1, 1933 in Cale, She was the daughter of Albert D. and Nancy (Taylor) Thomas.
She worked at the Glenburn Home from 1972-1977, Linton Library from 1983-1993 and housekeeping from 1978-2003. She was a member of the Linton Church of Christ, a Lifetime member of Woodland Bible Camp. She graduated from the Linton-Stockton High School in 1951.
Survivors include one son Mark Hodges of Bloomington; one daughter Jeanette Hammel and her husband Dennis of Indianapolis; six grandchildren, Brandi, Alex, Delena, Lacey, Melissa and Melanie; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Raymond T. Thomas and W. Houston Thomas both of Linton, her twin brother Paul Thomas of Clayton, Justin L. Thomas of Linton; three sisters, Thelma Hoyt of West Lafayette, Marylin Jones of Clarksville Tenn, Mary Kelley of Tallahassee Fla and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Ward Edward Thomas and one sister Alberta Troyan.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel of Linton with Bro. Jerry Carmichael officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery of Linton.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
