Virginia Brannon, 90, of Worthington, passed away at 1:25 a.m. Thursday, May 6, 2004 at Glenburn Home in Linton.
Born Nov. 2, 1913 in Owen County, she was the daughter of Ray and Nora (Hord) Scott.
She was a homemaker and a housekeeper. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include one son, Jack Brannon of Bloomington; three daughters, Leanna Elgin of Broken Arrow, Okla., Susan Jenne of Winter Park, Fla., and Arlettia Flynn of Worthington; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Ethel Johnson of Freedom.
One daughter, Martha Green of Linton, died shortly after her mother's death Thursday, May 6, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son Robert Ray Brannon; one brother, Oscar Scott and two great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the Worthington Cemetery.
Friends may call at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday.
Memorials may be given to Glenburn Home in Linton.
