Violet Ruth Kasinger, 78, of Shelburn, passed away at 11 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2004 at her residence.
She was born Oct. 3, 1925 in Danville Ill., and had been married to Albert Kasinger.
A homemaker, she attended the Coalmont Church of God.
Survivors include, four sons, Albert R. (Aurora) Kasinger of Huntington Beach, Calif., Timothy D. Kasinger, Charles R. Kasinger and Jesse W. (Cindy) Kasinger, all of Shelburn; one daughter Brenda (Mike) Anderson of Marshall, Ill.; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert; one daughter Wilma Anderson; one brother; and one sister.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Alexander-Kean Funeral Home in Sullivan with the Rev. J.F. Rehmel officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery in Prairie Creek.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, and 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
