Elizabeth "Betty" Bledsoe, 90, of Oaktown and formerly of Vincennes, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2004, at 1:37 a.m. at Oak Village Nursing Home in Oaktown.
Born Nov. 23, 1913 in Sullivan County, she was the daughter of Alvin and Mae (Howard) Stuller.
She was retired from Prestolite in Vincennes.
Survivors include three daughters, Jessie Stafford and her husband Robert of Carlisle, Janice Bledsoe of Jasper, and Evelyn Medlin of Raleigh, N.C.; one brother, Paul Stuller of Martinsville; three granddaughters; one grandson; seven great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Edward Bledsoe, who passed away in 1995; one son, Robert Earl Bledsoe; one brother, Russell Stuller; one sister, Madge McGee; one grandson; and her parents.
Funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Indian Prairie Church in Carlisle with the Rev. Paul Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Prairie Cemetery.
Friends may call at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger on Friday from 5-8 p.m. and before the service Saturday.
