MARTINSVILLE ---- Norman Leroy Tincher, 79, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2004, at 1:30 a.m. at the home of his granddaughter in Fortville, Ind.

Born Oct. 19, 1924 in Greene County, he was the son of Guy and Jessie (Clark) Tincher.

He was a retired stationary engineer at Houston Power and Light Company in Houston, Texas. He was a member of the Martinsville American Legion and the Liberty Christian Church in Martinsville.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette (Bedwell) Tincher of Martinsville; one son, Dallas Tincher of Martinsville; two daughters, Deana Noach and her husband Randall of Washington, and Deborah Rutan and her husband Lawrson of Fortville; two sisters, Alice McKim and Mildred Lehman, both of Lyons; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother, and her parents.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home in Lyons with Pastor Nathan Jansen officiating. Burial will follow at Dog Island Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. on Tuesday until the time of service.
