Paul Halderman, 88, of Bloomfield, died Sunday, April 18, 2004 at Lyons Health and Living Center.
Born Dec. 15, 1915 in Worthington, he was raised by Ed and Ruby Halderman.
He was a foreman for the Illinois Central Railroad, retired.
Survivors include a son, Ed and his wife, Judy Halderman of Tallahassee, Fla.; three daughters, Carolyn and her husband Jim Day of Forreston, Ill., Phyllis Kemp of Elkhart, Ind., and Teresa and her husband Rich Parr of Bloomfield; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline (Flory) Halderman, who died Aug. 4, 1998; two sisters, Dolly Thompson and Gertrude; and his parents.
Service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler and the Rev. Ralph Roach officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, and 10 a.m. on Wednesday until the hour of service at the funeral home.
