Bernard C. Cliff, 70, of Springville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004, at Bloomington Hospital.
Born Sept. 10, 1933, in Chicago, Ill., he was the son of George and Gladys (Walker) Cliff.
He was a self-employed drywall contractor, and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia (Thomas) Cliff; five sons, Thomas Mulvihill of Ellettsville, William Mulvihill of Fort Leonard Wood, Miss., Bernard Cliff, Jr., of Bloomfield, Tim Cliff of Springville, and Tony Cliff of Bloomington; three daughters, Charlotte Thomas of Greencastle, Joyce Setters of Bloomington, and Selena Thompson of Solsberry; a granddaughter whom Mr. Cliff raised, Tonya Abram of Solsberry; 26 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one brother, James Cliff of Bloomfield; and one sister, Jacklyn McClary of Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Liberty Church of Christ in Hendricksville with the Rev. Kevin Gray officiating.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel, and Wednesday after noon until the time of service.
Burial will follow at Flynn Cemetery.
