WORTHINGTON ---- Wanda Mae Hulett, 75, of Worthington, passed away at 9:25 a.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.
Born May 23, 1928, in Worthington, she was the daughter of John C. and Edna (Palmer) Baker.
She was a homemaker for her husband and sons. For 21 years she was an Air Force partner with her husband, traveling around the United States while he was in the Air Force. She was a member of the Worthington First Baptist Church and Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, William "Bill" Hulett of Worthington; two sons, Dan Hulett and Jerry Hulett, both of Indianapolis; four brothers, William E. "Buddy" Baker of Brazil, Ind., Raymond and Max Baker, both of Worthington, and Bobby Baker of French Lick; a sister, Marguerite Smith of Texas; three granddaughters and two great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Wilson, Ossie Clayton and John Richard Baker; and two sisters, Mary Alice Baker and Anna Louise Duncan.
Services will be 1 p.m. on Friday at Welch and Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington with the Rev. Wes Hensley officiating. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, and from 9 a.m. on Friday until the time of service.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or to the Diabetes Foundation.
