INDIANAPOLIS ---- Margaret Rosemary Richard, 67, formerly of Worthington, passed away Friday, March 5, 2004, in Pinellas County, Fla.
Born Feb. 1, 1937 in Worthington, she was the daughter of Lorin and Lillian McIntosh.
She was a 1955 graduate of Worthington High School and valedictorian of her class. She was a member of the Sigma Kappa Sorority, attended Indiana University on a full music scholarship, and graduated with two bachelor degrees, one in music and one in music education. She taught piano lessons and music for several years in Speedway and the Indianapolis Public School System. She was a former president of the auxiliary to the Indianapolis and Marion County Medical Society, a Province Officer, longtime member of the Tri Kappa sorority, and member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was an active volunteer at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. She attended services and Bible studies at the Kirk of Dunedin in Fla., as well as at First Baptist Church in Indianapolis.
Survivors include her husband, Bryce Richard; two daughters, Anne Moe Wilmore and husband Alexander, and Susan Margaret Moe and friend Jason Cardoso; cousins Martha Midkiff and Betty Meininger; step-children Mark Richard, Carol Oswald, Joy Warren, Barbara Richard, Jennifer Nordin, Jayne Hull, and James Richard; several step-grandchildren; and many loving friends.
Funeral service will be Thursday at the First Baptist Church on 86th St. and College Avenue in Indianapolis at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Worthington Cemetery.
Friends may call at Flanner Buchanan Funeral Center in Broad Ripple on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
