Naomi Kraemer Wetzel, 42, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2004, at 4:35 a.m. at her residence in Linton.
Born Sept. 14, 1961, in Savannah, Ill., she was the daughter of Rev. William and Frieda (Bast) Kraemer.
She was a graduate of Clark College in Dubuque, Iowa; a homemaker and a Master Gardener. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Linton where she taught Sunday School and was the Hand Bell Choir Director.
Survivors include her husband, Rev. Jim Wetzel of Linton, whom she married Aug. 18, 1984; her parents of Crown Point; one daughter, Sarah Elyse Wetzel, at home; one son, Aaron James Wetzel, at home; and three brothers, Rev. Timothy Kraemer of Haysville, Philip Kraemer of Linton, and Andrew Kraemer of Crown Point.
Funeral services will be held at the Linton First Baptist Church at 3 p.m. on Saturday with Rev. David Tyra officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Sumner, Iowa, at a later date.
Friends may call on Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Welch and Cornett Funeral Home, Linton Chapel, and after noon until the time of service on Saturday at the Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Greene County or the Trinity Lutheran Church Missions through the funeral home.
