Lois C. Harris, 83, of Worthington, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at 12:52 p.m. at Greene County General Hospital.
Born Nov. 5, 1920 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Herman and Daisy (Ault) Ball.
She and her husband owned and operated Harris's Tractor and Mower Shop in Clay City for 18 years, moving back to Worthington in 1974. Prior to that, they operated a Huckster Wagon in the Worthington and Clay City areas.
Survivors include one son, Max Harris and his wife Jackie of Worthington; one daughter, Judy Griffith and her husband Terry of Worthington; one daughter-in-law, Marcheta Harris of Clay City; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Harris, who passed away on Jan. 28, 2004; one son, Jerry Warren Harris; twin grandsons, and her parents.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Welch and Cornett Funeral Home, Worthington Chapel, with her grandson, Rev. Randy Harris, officiating. Burial will follow in Worthington Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. on Friday, and from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
