Harry L. Burcham, 78, of Ellettsville, passed away Monday, Feb. 2, 2004 at his residence.
Born April 20, 1925, in Greene County, he was the son of Claude and Inez (Smith) Burcham.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was retired from the administration office at Crane and had been a watchmaker. He had attended Walnut Creek Church of God and was a member of the American Legion in Bloomington and the Bloomington VFW.
Survivors include his wife, Pruda M. (Bennett) Burcham of Ellettsville; one son, Ronald Burcham of Mitchell; one daughter, Penny Browning of Tulsa, Okla.; one sister, Wilma Wood of Bloomington; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Lee Anne Burcham.
Service was today at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville with the Rev. Jim Severan officiating. Burial followed in Presbyterian Cemetery.
Military rites were the Veterans Honor Guard.
