Betty Lou "Nanny" Thomas Brewer Feuquay, 78, died at 9:32 p.m. on Thursday at Health South in Terre Haute.
Born Sept. 12, 1925, in Jasonville, she was the daughter of Claude Thomas and Cora Zurcher Thomas.
She retired as a bookkeeper for A&P, and was a cook at the Sea Cove Restaurant. She was a 1943 graduate of Jasonville High School, attended Friendly Grove Baptist Church, was an avid bingo player and enjoyed her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Ruth Ann Hill of Jasonville; son and daughter-in-law, Max E. and Judy Brewer of Rantoul, Ill.; sister, Marie Markle of Linton; two brothers, Claude Thomas and Harold Thomas, both of Jasonville; grandchildren, Gerri and Dan Webster, Terry Hill, Billi and Robert Auterson, Lonny Hill, Jimmie Hill, Justin Brewer and Christina Brewer; great- grandchildren Matt and T.J. Hill, Katie and Abby Auterson, Alexis and Megan Hill; great godchildren, Alexa and Dalynne Pearson; and several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Kate Targett and Dorothy Keller; brothers, Gerald "Tye" Thomas, Cletus Thomas, Wayne Thomas, and Walter William Thomas.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville with the Rev. Dwight Gould officiating. Burial will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home, and 9 a.m. on Tuesday until the time of service.
